Apple unveils new Mac Mini and Mac Studio models
Apple revealed updated Mac mini and Mac Studio models, along with new M6 chips in the Mac mini and M5 Ultra chips in the Mac Studio, offering notable performance improvements and better features for AI-related tasks, according to the company’s press service.

The Mac mini will feature the M6 and M5 Pro processors. The Mac mini featuring the M6 processor offers four times the performance for AI tasks, enhances graphics and storage performance by twofold, and boosts processor performance by 40%. Apple mentioned that the Mac mini featuring the M5 Pro offers enhanced performance.

Pre-orders for the latest Mac mini and Mac Studio versions start on August 25, and sales will commence on September 22. Prices begin at $899 (for the M6) and $1,699 (for the M5 Pro).

The Mac mini models come equipped with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6, alongside enhanced 2.5 Gbps internet speeds, with an option for 10 Gbps. Apple stated that the new Mac mini is a major upgrade when combined with the features of macOS 27 and the next generation of Apple Intelligence, such as Siri AI.

The Mac Studio will utilize the M5 Max and M5 Ultra. According to the company, these are the most powerful computers Apple has produced to date. They provide 4.3 times quicker AI performance, twice the storage speed, 1.8 times faster graphics, 1.3 times improved CPU performance, and enhanced memory bandwidth. Apple stated that this allows designers, developers, data scientists, and numerous others to expand the limits of their skills.
